Job Interview

A number of years ago before we moved to Mesa, I interviewed with a couple of CPA firms in Santa Rosa. I flew into Oakland and Court picked me up. In those days the main car was the Oldsmobile. The younger generation may not know this, but many older cars had bench seats in the front. The advantage was that it allowed you to put three people in the front. I will now share with you the disadvantage. I'm sure some of you have noticed that I'm a little taller than Court. When he picked me up at the airport he had the front seat pushed forward so he could drive. What happened to me was that there was no leg room for myself. In fact my knees were up and smashed against the car. It was one of the most uncomfortable rides I have ever had in a car. It was a great visit, but I was glad when we arrived at the house.
